Fishing on the River Rother

Today Kelly, the Twins and I went fishing with Sharron and David on the River Rother, I went out at 9am this morning to pick up rods for the boys, we didn't at first tell them that was what we was doing. We told them that they were going to have to sit there all day and watch, lol. Their faces lit up when they were shown the rods, the shame bit was they broke in 30sec's flat. However I drove back to hasting some 30mins from where we were to get them replaced. When I returned an hour later, Dave and I help set them up....

They really got the hang of it fast and were fishing in no time, Ashley caught his first fish....

This actually was the biggest fish caught by any of us lol,


Josh then caught his first fish.....

All in all a good time was had by all, Kelly sporting her sexy hat and wellies again, I did get some fishing in despite the running around I caught about 12 in total...... Kelly caught 6, And Ash and Josh caught two. But Ash caught the biggest so well done Ashley....



I think Kelly and me are planning on going again just us two, well we'll see what happens......

Fishing at the Beeches

This was a while back, but I haven't been able to get on to Blogger to write this as yes I did it again and lost my password....

Well anyway I went fishing on a lake known as the beeches I went with Dave, who is Kelly's brother in law. Whilst their I decided as I had a spare rod I'd try a bit of ledgering. I had it set up with bits I borrowed from Dave, and within an hour of that going in I caught a 3.5lb Common Carp... Actually now means out of me and Kelly I have caught the biggest fish....



Dave did catch a bigger mirror carp I can't actually remember the weight of it, but I know it dwarfed mine...........

Well all in all that fishing trip went well.....

Pannel Lane - Monday 24th August

Well that was fun, watching Kelly nearly fall in a few times and walking in her new sexy wellies.. I tell you I was PMSL when she walked done those stairs in the wellies.

We got there and Kelly's sister showed her how to set up and cast and the the basic and Kelly was off to a flying start, within 30 sec's I kid you not Kelly caught a Roach. I casted out a second laters and pulled out a Carp, not a big one but not bad considering I haven't fished for a few years.......

Kelly and I are still in a debate with who caught the most but I think I got the most with 32 fish only little ones, and Kelly says she lost count when she got to to 20........ So we will never know.....

Well the Fishing trip all in all went well I think we are planning again on going again on Saturday where abouts is hard say at the moment

First time Fishing for Years Tommorow

Tomorrow will be the first time I have gone fishing, in years I think the last time I went, was with my Dad, some 20ish years ago. So it will be interesting to see if I enjoy it again. I should do I loved it before it was nice just to get out and relax, for a few hours. It didn't matter if I caught anything it was just time to relax and chill out. So to keep a record of events when I do go I thought this time I would write a blog......
